Reid: ‘Absolutely horrendous performance"

Eagles coach Andy Reid did not mince words in describing his dismay with the Eagles’ 48-22 loss to the New Orleans Saints. “An absolutely horrendous performance,” Reid said. “There were too many mistakes, and that’s my responsibility,” Reid said. “I have to make sure this thing is right. It wasn’t right today – any phase of it … In the first half, we had way too many penalties and we were lucky enough to keep the game close. We came out in the second half and had turnovers and penalties and everything else. Again, that’s my responsibility. This is my football team and I have to make sure that they play better than that.
