Rookies excited about minicamp

The Eagles were infamous for getting modest production from rookies until DeSean Jackson’s breakout 2008 season. Jackson led the team in receiving in his rookie campaign, but he’s one of the few exceptions. Defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley, defensive end Victor Abiamiri, linebacker Chris Gocong and quarterback Kevin Kolb — all drafted in the first three rounds — either played minimal roles their rookie seasons or none at all.
