Eagles cornerback Asante Samuel isn’t your average rah-rah, go-team-go kind of leader. You won’t find him rallying the troops before kickoff, spitting fire, banging helmets with teammates or smearing on war paint. “Just watch me. That’s my leadership,” the Eagles’ Pro Bowl cornerback said. “I’m not the “Come up, everybody, let’s have a speech.’ That’s not me.” This is not to suggest Samuel, who came to the Eagles from the New England Patriots, is incapable of inspiring — quite the opposite is true, really.
