Sanchez Has Strong Game While Clemens Struggles

Moving to his left, Kellen Clemens made only a halfhearted effort to clean up his own mess as Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Jack Ikegwuonu rumbled to the 2-yard line with the ball Clemens had just thrown. One play later, the Eagles had a touchdown. Clemens could only watch from the sideline. Yet another outing had taken a turn for the worse. As if Mark Sanchez had not done enough to relegate him into obscurity this preseason, Clemens was reminding Coach Rex Ryan and his teammates that he just might belong there.
