Still healthy, Ingram hopes to produce

It didn’t matter that he didn’t catch a pass, didn’t start or watched a rookie usurp him on the depth chart. Cornelius Ingram played in a game and stayed healthy. That alone made Friday night’s preseason opener against Jacksonville like a dream come true for the second-year tight end. “Huge,” Ingram said after the Eagles’ 28-27 win. “That was probably the most important thing. I’m pretty sure you’re all tired of hearing me saying how long it’s been. Truly, it has been long, over two years. Just being back out on the field, it was huge plus for me — a huge plus.” One can understand Ingram’s boundless enthusiasm despite his failure to get into the box score.
