Still nursing sore quad, Eagles’ Peters relieved to get on practice field

It might be a stretch to say Jason Peters’ appearance on the practice field at Eagles training camp was so momentous, it was accompanied by thunder and lightning.Thunder and lightning did drive the Eagles inside yesterday morning, however, after heavy rains originally moved them from their normal practice location to a nearby turf lacrosse field. And Peters was lined up at left tackle yesterday, for the first time in this camp, after suffering what the team called a “quad spasm” in Thursday’s conditioning run.”It felt good to get back out there with my teammates and get some reps,” Peters said.
