Torn ACL could end season for Eagles’ Ingram

Eagles tight end Cornelius Ingram has a torn ACL in his left knee, the same injury he suffered last year in college at the University of Florida, head coach Andy Reid said today. Reid said it was too early to tell whether Ingram will be placed on injured reserve, which would pretty much end his season. But Reid did say the Eagles will try to sign a tight end in the near future. The Eagles worked out three earlier today. Reid did have some good news on wide receiver DeSean Jackson, who hyper-extended his knee during the morning practice and left the field. Reid said Jackson is “fine,” and that he “just bumped knees” with Asante Samuel during a drill. Jackson did not practice in the …
