Trotter taking mean mood to Dallas

Thinking back to this time last season, Jeremiah Trotter had no way of knowing he would ever play in another NFL playoff game. “It’s funny,” the Eagles middle linebacker said. “I was joking with Andy Reid about this and I told him at this time last year, I was sitting on a couch, watching.” But now he is preparing with the rest of his teammates for Saturday’s playoff showdown in Dallas after returning to the Eagles in the fourth week of the season. “It’s a humbling feeling to be back in the NFL and back in the playoffs,” Trotter said.
