Vick will not join Eagles for Colts game

August 18th, 2009

The Philadelphia Eagles will visit Indianapolis later this week. Michael Vick will not. An Eagles spokesman said the controversial quarterback will not accompany the team for Thursday night’s preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts in Lucas Oil Stadium. Vick would not have been eligible to play in the game under conditions set forth by commissioner Roger Goodell when he conditionally reinstated Vick last month. Vick is eligible to play in Philadelphia’s final two preseason games.
