Vick’s production low, but he sees progress

Five games into the season, it’s hard to believe Eagles coach Andy Reid had envisioned such little production from his Wildcat offense led by controversial signing Michael Vick. Vick, the Eagles’ alleged X-factor, once again didn’t make any significant impact on the offense in Monday night’s 27-17 win against the Redskins at FedEx Field. Vick completed his only pass, a five-yard connection to Brent Celek across the middle from the Wildcat formation, and carried the ball three times for nine yards — all nine coming on his final carry.
