Westbrook, Abiamiri out a few weeks

Andy Reid opened his first news conference at Lehigh University by announcing that Brian Westbrook wouldn’t be ready to practice for at least a month. At least Westbrook will have company in his rehab program. Reid also matter-of-factly delivered the bad news that third-year defensive end Victor Abiamiri will be out of training camp until mid-August after recently straining his pectoral muscle while training. Abiamiri entered camp as the front-runner at left defensive end, though he’s competing against incumbent Juqua Parker.
