In the past, the news that Brian Westbrook was missing his second straight game with a concussion would have been devastating, possibly derailing the Eagles’ season. Now, it is met with little more than a shrug. That’s not to say that the Eagles don’t need Westbrook. They do. They definitely could have used him Sunday night in a 20-16 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. But they’re not reliant on him to carry the offense like they were in the past.
