Westbrook ‘ready to roll,’ Reid says

Brian Westbrook will return to action Sunday, six games after he suffered a second concussion. Eagles coach Andy Reid said his running back would suit up for the Denver game, barring any unforeseen setback. Westbrook underwent neurological tests Tuesday and was cleared by doctors for game action. He has practiced for the last two weeks, but only with the scout team. “He did perfect on [the tests], so he’s ready to roll,” Reid said. “He’s not doing the scout-team stuff anymore. . . . He’s back in with the offense and going.” Reid said Westbrook, 30, would have a reduced role, however. He could start, but rookie LeSean McCoy is expected to be the primary tailback.
