Westbrook takes field for first time

Someone with as much star power — if not more — as Michael Vick practiced with the Eagles on Saturday for the first time. Brian Westbrook, the team’s top offensive threat, took part in some drills as the Eagles held their first post-Lehigh practice at the NovaCare Complex. Westbrook is still rehabbing his surgically repaired ankle, which kept him sidelined for the entire Lehigh portion of camp, but did some running and receiving drills in practice. He didn’t participate in any 11-on-11 drills.
