But they have all been that way since commissioner Roger Goodell cracked the door open and allowed him to return to the NFL in July following an 18-month stint in a federal prison on dogfighting charges. Goodell met with Vick at a hotel in New Jersey Thursday. Three hours before the Eagles took the field against the Jets, he told Vick that he will be eligible to play in Week 3.
